Dentures
Dentures are removable, artificial teeth that replace missing teeth in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. There are two types of dentures: Full dentures and Partial dentures. Full and partial dentures are both available at Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.
Complete Dentures
Complete dentures replace your entire upper, lower, or both teeth. There are two types of complete dentures: conventional and immediate. Conventional dentures are ready for placement in the mouth about 8–12 weeks after the teeth have been removed. Immediate dentures are made in advance and can be positioned as soon as the teeth are removed. In the case of immediate dentures, the patient does not have to be without teeth during the healing period. There is a disadvantage to immediate dentures compared with conventional dentures. It requires more adjustments to fit properly during the healing process.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are used to replace one or a few missing teeth. Partial dentures are similar to full dentures in that they also rely on your gums and underlying bone for support. But partial dentures also have special clasps that hook around your remaining natural teeth, providing additional stability.
At Healthy Smiles Dental Clinic we provide all types of dentures for our patient at reasonable rate.
